About Twin Flames - Live in Concert
Multi-award winning, and chart-topping Indigenous artists, Twin Flames, build bridges across cultures, continents, and styles. Powerhouse husband and wife duo of Chelsey June (Metis - Algonquin Cree) and Jaaji (Inuk and Mohawk), are long celebrated for their sonic landscapes spanning Canada and the Arctic, and honouring their ancestors through song in English, Inuttitut, and French.
Together they bring a richness of personal history and musical experience to their music, which tells stories of courage and survival. Using Indigenous Spirit flutes, traditional drums, western instruments, and synthesized harmonies, they bring life to songs using 3 languages, making their concerts a truly a unique experience not to be missed.
Twin Flames were also chosen as artists in residence for the Folk Alliance International 2019 conference where they were partnered with UNESCO to write "Human", the official song to celebrate the International Year of Indigenous Languages.
