About Tony
Tony is a 41 year resident of Pickering's Ward 1. He attended Dunbarton High School, graduating as a Provincial Scholar and went on to complete his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics from the University of Toronto.
Tony's strong business acumen gained through over 30 years of negotiation, controlling expenses and balancing budgets, will serve our residents well at the Council table, especially during budget time.
Tony is very passionate about his community and is involved in many community based programs:
o Chair of the South Rosebank (SoRo) Safe Streets Initiative
o Neighbourhood Watch Member and Street Captain
o Founding member of the Durham Regional Crime Stoppers program
o Pickering Terry Fox Run Committee Member
o Durham Region Walk for Muscular Dystrophy Volunteer
Tony's efforts were successful in bringing 24 hour ambulance service to Pickering to the benefit of all residents.
Tony enjoys spending time in the community with his family.. He resides in South Rosebank with his wife Janice and son Alex.
