About Sherry
As a former Pickering Trustee from 2003-2010, I championed important initiatives like the Heroes at Home Program with the Pickering Veterans’ Association, the Breakfast Program, and the creation of the Youth Health Centre at Dunbarton High School. My experience will allow me to hit the ground running to represent the interests of students and parents.
I have lived in Pickering since 2000, where my husband and I have raised our two children and our dog Echo. I also work in Pickering as a real estate agent and have previously worked in communications and marketing - skills that help me be an effective communicator.
I believe in life-long learning and completed my university degree at age 40.
I currently serve on the Pickering Heritage Committee and have previously volunteered with several local sports clubs and charities. I’m also an active member of our community who has spent many years as a hockey and tennis mom.
